Some overdue additions to the photo galleries today. The Golden Jackal was photographed in 2017 on a scorching afternoon in southern Sri Lanka. The African Wild Dog (Painted Wolf) was photographed in the Olifants region of the Kruger National Park. I had to break a curfew time to get this shot but thankfully avoided any repercussions for doing so! The pair of Lions were photographed shortly after they’d wandered away from a carcass, leaving the scraps to a variety of vultures and a Black-backed Jackal to pick over.
