A few design tweaks

When I decided to re-write this site, the actual appearance of it took a bit of a back seat while I worked out the functionality. Colours, fonts, backgrounds, gradients, etc were essentially just picked at speed so that I could get on with the coding. It didn’t turn out too bad in general, and I haven’t made any significant changes to the overall aesthetic since. However, often the way something is laid out will also affect how useable it is on a mobile device (small screen). Getting the species list to ever be completely mobile friendly was always going to be a bit of a stretch, and I’ve had to concede that, at least when holding a phone in portrait mode, it can’t be done, at least in its current form anyway. Nevertheless, I’ve made some visual tweaks to it which, apart from making the page more attractive in my opinion, does manage to show the list in its entirety on a phone in landscape mode, and it nearly manages it in portrait mode, but not quite. The new layout is a bit more logical too. The ability to filter the list by country has been moved to join all of the other filter types, and the page has a generally cleaner look.
The main gallery page has also had a minor refresh – bolder, but smaller fonts, that are more in keeping with the look of the rest of the site.
