Adders, Firecrests and Pigeons

Another few additions to the wildlife gallery this evening… The colourful Orange-breasted Green Pigeon was found in Bundala on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. The male Adder was found coiled up in the Forest of Dean and the Firecrest was found on a woodland edge in Norfolk.

Capercaillies and Sparrowhawks

Today the wildlife gallery has been added to with this photograph of a Western Capercaillie found in the Caledonian pine forest of the Cairngorms in Scotland, and this Little Sparrowhawk found in the Punda Maria rest camp in the far north of the Kruger National Park, South Africa.
