As if a pandemic and its associated lockdown wasn’t enough of an excuse for my travel and photography to slow down, and by extension this website, I’ve had another excuse which has been growing ever larger for the past nine months. On 5th March 2021 I became a dad to a beautiful little girl. We have named her Lori Frances Locke, Frances being the name of my late mother. She’s already started to explore the forest with us a bit and I’m looking forward to being able to show her some of the forest’s wilder inhabitants.
