The site continues to perform really well on the new server. If anything, it’s surprised me with just how well it’s performing. There have been no errors due to lack of server resources (or any other reason for that matter), so I have decided to turn CloudFlare back on. There’ll be no discernible difference to visitors, other than that they might find the site gets even quicker, and the data will be coming from all over the place – not just the home of my server (which incidentally, has moved back across the Atlantic, closer to home in the UK).
There are a relatively small number of images that are still missing from the server. None of them are really missing at all, but the fact that they are not showing is down to case sensitivity on Linux as compared to Windows. Once I’ve fixed that, I think I’m done! I’ve still got some work to do on another website for someone else, but once that’s out the way, I’ll hopefully finally be able to enjoy the rest of spring!
